It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernita Gary of Gueydan, Louisiana, born in Mermentau, Louisiana, who passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ervy Dronet and Annabell Guidry Dronet; her husband Alford James Gary "AJ"; and her brother Donald Dronet. She is survived by : her children, Jonathon LeBlanc (Debra), Rene Gary (JoAnn), Timothy Gary and Jody Gary (Sherrie). She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, & six great grandchildren.
