He was predeceased by: his parents, Euclid Cormier and Lonnie Boudreaux. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Cormier; his children, Buddy Cormier (Chrystal) of Gueydan, Rachel Touchet (Kenneth) of Laccasine and Valen Cormier (Nick Leyva) of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Laci Harding, Natalie LeBlanc, Matthew Cormier, Tori Trahan, Blake Touchet, Seth Touchet, Noah Cormier, André Figaro, Aiden Leyva and Khloe Leyva; and his brothers, Steven Cormier of Breaux Bridge and Harry Cormier of Laccasine. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home (311 4th St, Gueydan, LA 70542). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gueydan Cemetery.
