She was predeceased by: her parents, Steven LaGrange and Menolia LaGrange Sr.; her siblings, Linda LaGrange, Emelda Cannon, Arcadia Alexander, Steven LaGrange Jr., Allery Woods Sr., Melvin Woods Sr., Lawerence Woods Sr. and Stan Woods; and her in-laws, Julius Cannon Sr., Leon Wright, Ferdinand Alexander Sr., Mrytle, Molly and Fannie Woods.
She is survived by: her children, Deseree Lister (Regenald) of Houston, Nicole Day (McKinley) of Destrehan, Durrell LaGrange (Leanna) of Hahnville and Ricky LaGrange (Barbara) of Slidell; her grandchildren, Ashley Hardison (Randy), Ronell Day, Sean Mathieu, Kenneth Day, Ryan George, Andre Smith, Shanneria White, Ryleigh Green, Tyrin Arceneaux, Jayden Goudy, Malaika Johnson, Amori Scott and D'Andre Porter (Aliscia); her sister Mary Ann Wright of Ama; her sister-in-law Elvina LaGrange of Ama; and her godchildren, LeeAnn Wright, Karen Mott and Danny Boudoin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mount Airy Baptist Church of Boutte (13635 Old Spanish Trail, Boutte, LA 70039). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
