It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn Loar Serpas of Hahnville, Louisiana, who passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Rogers R. Serpas Sr.; her parents, Clarence Henry Loar Sr. and Lucille Babin Loar; and her siblings, Clarence H. Loar Jr., Paul Loar and Carolyn Loar Maronge.

She is survived by : her sons, Rogers R. Serpas Jr. (Barbara) and Kent M. Serpas (Michelle); her grandchildren, Andrew Rogers Serpas (Elizabeth), Riley Ann Serpas and Stratton Michael Serpas; and her great grandchildren, Mila Serpas, Aliana Serpas, Marilyn "Marli" Serpas and Remi Serpas.
