He is survived by: his wife Lynette R. Coates; his parents, Andrea Brumfield and Cecil Coates; his sons, Jesse Coates and Austin Coates; his grandchildren, Raven Smith, Luna Coates and Noah Autin; his sister Julie Coates; his mother-in-law Cynthia Brancaccio; his siblings-in-law, Richard (Bridget), Brandy (Ricky) and Brian (Misty); and his sibling's children, Nicole, Ashley, Desiree', Kendyl, Stephanie, Jessica, Makaylah, Jaimie, Michael, James, Ricky, Lake, Joshua, Caleb, Brett, Manuel and Matthew.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brandon G Thompson Funeral Home (12012 US-190, Hammond, LA 70401). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
