She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson Eliza Harris and Eulalia Jessie Allen; and her former husbands, Edward McAlpine and George Fagan. She is survived by: her husband Philip A. Gapinski; her sons, Edward Russell McAlpine of Black Diamond and Patrick Fagan of Hammond; her grandchildren, Patrick Alex Fagan II, Forrest Fagan and Britney Holmes; and her siblings, Bernadine Thiesing of Chugiak, Alaska and Dale Robertson of California.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Rose Memorial Park Cemetery (908 Western Ave, Hammond, LA 70401).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkinson's or dementia-related nonprofit organizations.
