She was predeceased by: her son Terrell Holmes; her parents, Frank Holmes and Lizzie Bell; and her siblings, Willie Mae Taylor, Glenda M. Bell, Calvin Holmes, Frankie Ray Bell, James McFarland, Albert Bell and Charles Bell.

She is survived by: her brothers, Walter Bell and Frederick Bell; her nephew Wendell H. Taylor, Jr.; and her cousin Doris Robinson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
