She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Gordon Anderson and Edna Blanche White Anderson; and her siblings, Winnifred "Doots" Anderson Reno (Jack) and Victor Gordon Anderson, Jr. (Eloise Goudeau Anderson). She is survived by: her daughter Sabra Matheney; her son-in-law Dylan Turner; her brother Joseph Thomas "Tom" Anderson (Donna Gay Borden); her caregiver Kitty Carter; Monika Somnerfield. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (411 W Charles St, Hammond, LA 70401). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests that memorial donations be directed to Richard Murphy Hospice House or First Presbyterian Church of Hammond, Louisiana.
