With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis Elaine Manchester King (Hammond, Louisiana), who passed away on July 7, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Manchester and Bartlett Manchester; and her brothers, James, Clinton, Huey and John Manchester.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Amber Husser (Ellis), Dena Borcherding (Kory), Rachelle Morvant (Kyle), Monique Morvant, Lynn King III and Andria Dail (William); her great grandchildren, Brandon (Kylie), Matthew (Chelsea), Nicholas (Paige), Mark, Grace, Austin, Brady, Ella and Mallory; her great great grandchildren, Riley, Everett and Evelyn; and her sisters, Virginia Moorman and Laverne Mosely. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Calendar Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home and Crematory-Hammond (2000 N Morrison Blvd, Hammond, LA 70401). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
