She was predeceased by : her parents, Alix Renard Menendez and Alfred Menendez, Sr.; and her siblings, Leatrice Menendez, Alice "Jean" Niehaus, Alfred Menendez Jr. and Mona Ballard.
She is survived by : her daughter Tonia West; her grandchildren, Zoey Baham and Conor West; her sisters, Raylee Avet, Joyce Turnage (Ike Turnage), Gail Morgan (Henry Morgan) and Joanne Menendez; and her great-niece Katelyn Landry. She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
