He was predeceased by: his parents, Remy P. Robert and Ethel Landry Robert; his siblings, Cecil P. Robert (Betty), Shelby L. Robert, Joyce Ann Robert and Lois Robert Simoneaux (Kelly); his son Michael; his grandsons, Jeffrey DeVries, Mordecai Robert and Luke Robert; and his former wife Elizabeth Stewart Robert.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Robert Birdsong (Edmond), David B. Robert (Jo Lynn), Nancy Robert DeVries (Bob), Philip S. Robert, Martha M. Robert, Nolan J. Robert (Kim) and Remy P. Robert (Jessica); and his sister-in-law Betty Cicero Robert. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Church- Darrow Darrow (37311 LA-22, Darrow, LA 70725). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:45 AM at the same location.
