He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Boyd Baker and Ressie Martin Baker; his siblings, Thomas Baker and Birdie Jean Baker Forbus; his wife Joan Barnett Baker; his son James "Jimbo" Madison Baker, Jr.; his granddaughter Lucie Evangeline Magee; and his son-in-law Michael "Mike" Magee.
He is survived by: his daughters, Joan "Joanie" Baker Tolar (Larry) and Jamie Baker Magee; his grandchildren, Michael Riser, Eric Tolar (Hailee Jordan), Gracie and Olivia Magee; his great grandchild Sarah Myers (George); and his great great grandchild Baker James Myers.
