He was predeceased by : his parents, Cosimo L Viola and Mary Lucido Viola. He is survived by : his wife Josie P Viola; his sons, Scott Viola (Lauren) and Shaun Viola (Maura); and his grandchildren, London, Ashton, Adalind, Chloe and Stone.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home and Crematory-Hammond (2000 N Morrison Blvd, Hammond, LA 70401). A Mass was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (255 N 8th St, Ponchatoula, LA 70454). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Rose Memorial Park Cemetery (908 Western Ave, Hammond, LA 70401).
