He was predeceased by: his parents, John Horace Quave and Anna Mae McCraney Quave; his siblings, Dianne Fitzmorris (Abe) and John Horace Quave Jr. (Ramona); his mother-in-law Bertha Lee McLaughlin (Elwood); and his nephew Chad Gennardo (Jaime).
He is survived by: his wife Betty Gayle McLaughlin Quave; his brothers, Louis Quave (June), James "Bubbie" Quave and Sydney Quave Galloway; his nieces and nephews, Jeff Quave (Melinda), Michael Quave, Todd Quave, Christi Brugier, Tracey Fitzmorris, Shawn Fitzmorris, Todd Gennardo, Samantha Hall and Savannah Hall; and his extended family, Mikhael Deliberto, James Lewis, Andrei Ciolacu (Lidia), Vitalie Guminic (Simona), Sergiu Sirghi (Nidia), Sorin Golubas (Irina), Oleg Balaban (Rodica), Constantine Cernean (Natalia) and Ion Melestean.
