We bid farewell to Susan Thames Tucker of Hammond, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 11, 2025 at the age of 81. Susan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Allen Thames Sr. and Mary Harriet Blomeyer Thames; her sister Harriet Thames Trenchard; her uncles, Dr. Deloach Thames (Bobbye) and Louis Thames (Lillian); and her great-aunt Harriet "Hattie" Neelis Thames.
She is survived by: her husband Glenn Tucker; her children, Chris Tucker (Maria), Tim Tucker and Allison Tucker Wetzel (Shad); her grandchildren, Nicolas Tucker, Benjamin Tucker, David Tucker, Sadie Leigh Wetzel and Sawyer Tucker Wetzel; her brother James Allen Thames, Jr. (Debbie); and her cousin Marilyn Richmond (Bill). She is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Memorial Episcopal Church (100 W Church St, Hammond, LA 70401). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
