He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gaylord Teachworth of Minneapolis and Anne Schekeler Teachworth of New Orleans. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia "Cindy" Turner Teachworth; his daughters, Whitney Anne Fischer (Mark) and Jennifer Lynne Teachworth (Maria); his granddaughters, Abigail and Emma Fischer; and his brothers, Jeffrey, Michael (Jeanne), Daniel (Debbie), Douglas (Donna) and William Teachworth. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Rita Catholic Church (7100 Jefferson Hwy, Harahan, LA 70123). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the The Crossing (519 Williams Blvd, Kenner, LA 70062).
