He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Townsend, Sr. and Mary Townsend; his siblings, Rodney, Wayne Townsend and Darlene Wiley; and his grandson Anthony Coleman.
He is survived by: his children, Crystal Coleman, Wesley Townsend and Kortney Brooke Townsend; and his siblings, Rosa Meng and Floyd Townsend, Jr.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the New Ouachita Baptist Church (226 New Ouachita Road, HARRISONBURG, LA 71340). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
