He was predeceased by: his spouse Mathilde Porier Arabie; his mother Lena Boudreaux Arabie; and his siblings, Walter Arabie, Jr., Gladys Barbier (late Emile) and Lyric Arabie (late Mildred).
He is survived by: his children, Debra Barrios, Steve Arabie (Debra) and Toni Kass (Steve Stenger); his grandchildren, Edward M. Kass III (Jennifer), Raymond Kass II (Cindy), Paul Barrios, Brad Barrios and Michelle Dewyngaert (Brian); and his great grandchildren, Amelia Kass, Ava Kass, Charlotte Kass, Brandon Barrios, Landon Barrios, Brianna Barrios and Grayson Dewyngaert. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
