He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Melvin Petty Sr. and Ruth Wright Petty; his children, William Ganes III, Zanell Drope, Latoya Kennedy, Anna Gardner, Andra Gardner and Jessica Morris; Beverly Austin. He was also cherished by 22 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
