He was predeceased by: his wife Sarah Ann Wesley Malone; his parents, James Malone and Delia Malone; and his siblings, Lillie B. Fleming, Ollie May Floyd, Helen Holloway, Ora D. Hamilton, Eugene, Roosevelt, James Eewitt, McArthur and Samuel Malone.
He is survived by: his children, Andrew McFolling (Priscilla), Richshalyn Jordan (Laduan), Richard Malone, Jr. (Trina), Rachanique Curtis (Chad), Kawanda Malone, Joseph Malone, Tevonne Malone, Darralyn Malone, Aliah Malone, Annastasia Malone and Anthony Malone; and his siblings, Emma Lee Owens and Nathaniel Malone, Sr.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren 4 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Davis Mortuary Service (6820 Westbank Expy, Marrero, LA 70072). A graveside service was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Davis Mortuary Service-Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery (9820 9 Mile Point Rd, Westwego, LA 70094).
