She is survived by: her children, Monica Thurmond (Shawn Peterson) and Luigi Malta; her grandchildren, Ashley, Chelsie Thurmond, Ericka Poole and Giovani Malta; and her great grandchildren, Cullen, Brennan and Nora Kate Poole.
