He was predeceased by : his parents, Woodrow Gay and Agnes Gay; and his siblings, Billy Gay and Dianne Alexander. He is survived by : his wife Janice Kellogg Gay; his son Kevin Ray Gay (Sandy); his sister Nelda Sanders (Gene); his grandchildren, Aaron Gay, Ashly Howard (Clint) and Allen Gay (Stephany); his great grandchildren, Rowan, Lillian, Millie Gay, Carter and Garrett Howard; and his stepsons, Wayne and Kevin Antley. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be given to Central Assembly of God Church or to the charity of the donor's choice.
