It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles E Shearer (Haughton, Louisiana), born in Marmaduke, Arkansas, who passed away on November 22, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Norma Shearer; his daughter Mary Ann Denmon; and his grandson Rob Shearer. He is survived by: his wife Betty Shearer; his son Robert (Sam Shearer); his sister Lana Fay Edwards; and his sibling's children, Jerry, Sherry Noble, Brenda Maddox and Karoline Gregory (family: David, Stacey, Rachel, Rebecca Shumate). He is also survived by nephew and family.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hill Crest Memorial Chapel (601 US-80, Haughton, LA 71037). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shriners Children's Hospital in Charles's memory.
