With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Faye Powell (Haughton, Louisiana), born in Quitman, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 16, 2025 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Alva and Pearl Odessa Wilks Robinson; her siblings, Marcus Robinson and Dot Fernandez; her son-in-law Cliff Hudson; and her husbands, Douglas Powell and David Jones.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mitzi Powell Mathewes (Steven Wayne) and Mindy Hudson; her grandchildren, Lori Hudson Murphy (David), Danny Hudson (Kristin), Koty Adams (Jessica) and John Wilson Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Genevieve, Josephine Murphy, Jase, Grant Hudson and Rylan Adams.
Faye's contributions to the world around her were many.
