He is survived by: his son Derrick Tilbury (Bethany Tilbury); his granddaughter Sophia Tilbury; and his siblings, Lois Tilbury Concilio, Hazel Tilbury Land and Henry Tilbury Jr.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children's Medical Center Foundation in honor of his granddaughter.
