He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pinkney Moore and Tishia King Moore; his sisters, Bea Armour and Betty Jo Roach; his son John Michael Moore; and his granddaughter Ashley Elaine Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Leta Mae Vaughn Moore; his children, Deborah Moore Hughes (David), Sheryl Moore Garcie (Kent) and Stephen Gregory Moore; his grandchildren, Heather Ogden (Scott), Paul Daniel (Donna), John David Hughes, Ethan Garcie, Jacob Daniel, Rachael Ogden, Abby Ogden, Alice Daniel and Bailey Mae Moore; and his sister Shirley Conrad. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home (601 US-80, Haughton, LA 71037). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hill Crest Memorial Park (601 US-80, Haughton, LA 71037).
