With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Frances Smith (Haughton, Louisiana), born in Indianola, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 28, 2025 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Thomas Petrie and Maggie Lou (Parker); and her brother Rev. Danny Petrie. She is survived by: her children, George Michael Smith (Rennie) of Bossier City, Louisiana and Gwendolyn Kay Princehouse (Henry N. Princehouse III); her grandchildren, Henry N. Princehouse IV of Plano, Texas and Jennifer Lynn Princehouse of Plano, Texas; her siblings, Bobby Petrie (Millicent), Bill Petrie (Roana), Dr. Charlie Petrie (Sarah), Teddy Petrie and Melba Brackin (Petrie) of Beebe, Arkansas; and her sister-in-law Bettie (Brown) of Rogers. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.
