He was predeceased by: his father Malcolm "Mack" Sanford; his brother Daniel "Danny" Mark Sanford; and his brother-in-law Jerry V. Guillot. He is survived by: his mother Peggy Ann Bloxom Sanford; his sister Becky Sanford; his nephews, Jonathan D. Sanford and Jesse M. Sanford; and his great-niece Izzy Sanford. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Hill Crest Memorial Park (601 US-80, Haughton, LA 71037).
