He was predeceased by: his parents, William Taylor and Helen Taylor; and his siblings, Nancy, Robert, Richard and Laurie.

He is survived by: his wife Dianne Sermons Taylor; his children, Jeff Taylor and Jennifer Varnado (Cary); his grandchildren, Katelyn Varnado and Tommy Varnado; his nieces, Janine Pomeroy (Nicolas), Jenny Margheriti and Georgette Dawson; and his nephew Bill Margheriti Matthew Bratlee.

Memorials may be made in honor of Scott Taylor to a charity of donor's choice.
