She was predeceased by: her husband Don Pepper; her parents, Clyde Vernon and Ruby Tankersley Steed; her stepmother Billie Marie Steed; and her sisters, Jeanette Davis, Elizabeth Harper Chamblee, Verna Steed Kennedy, Jan Long and Billie Marie Harrison.
She is survived by: her children, Don Pepper, Jr. (Wendy), Cheryl Webb (Mark) and Kevin Pepper; her grandchildren, Matthew Pepper (Stephanie), Amanda Pepper, Michael Webb, Jonathan Webb and Cameron Webb; her great grandchildren, Madison Pepper and Grayson Pepper; and her sisters, Edith Austin (Russ) and Marge Frederickson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and their children.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home (601 US-80, Haughton, LA 71037). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations in her memory to a charity of the donor's choice.
