William J. Lane Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William J. Lane of Haughton, Louisiana, who passed away on October 29, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William J. Lane to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron E. Lane and Rose L. Pearce Lane; his former wife Barbara Jean Lane; his son Michael Dean Lane; and his sisters, Patricia Schneble and Shirley Lane.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Lane; his sons, Ricky K. Lane (Betty), Ronny G. Lane (Lisa), Terry M. Lane (Kay) and Steve M. Lane (Toni); and his sister Lois Chapman. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; along with many extended family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home Chapel (601 US-80, Haughton, LA 71037). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
