He was predeceased by: his parents, James Garfield Moss and Christell Dison Moss Endsley; his stepfather Ruben Endsley; and his brother Milford Moss. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Moss of Haynesville; his children, Renee Moss of Ruston, Gary Moss of Haynesville and Steven Moss (Tabitha) of Haynesville; his grandsons, Barron (Ashley) of Ruston, Ryan Barron (Jaedi) of Utah, Lee Moss of Colquitt, Ethan Moss (Kathleen) of Cotton Valley and Hunter Moss of Colquitt; and his sisters, Joyce Teague of Haynesville and Peggy Williams of Dallas. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren, one great great grandson.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to Holley Ridge Cemetery, St. Jude, or charity of the donor's choice.
