With solemn reverence, we commemorate James D. Moss of Haynesville, Louisiana, born in Summerfield, Louisiana, whose life came to an end on June 9, 2025 at the age of 98, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Moss of Haynesville; his children, Renee Moss of Ruston, Gary Moss of Haynesville and Steven Moss (Tabitha) of Haynesville; his grandsons, Barrona (Ashley) of Ruston, Ryan Baron (Jaedi) of Utah, Lee Moss of Colquitt, Ethan Moss (Kathleen) of Cotton Valley and Hunter Moss of Colquitt; and his sisters, Joyce Teague of Haynesville and Peggy of Dallas. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren, one great great grandson.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holly Ridge Assembly of God Church (857 Holly Ridge Rd, Haynesville, LA 71038).
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to Holley Ridge Cemetery, St. Jude, or charity of the donor's choice.
