He is survived by: his daughters, Melinda Smithey (Gary) of Ringgold, LA and Lesa Waldron of Heflin, LA; and his grandchildren, Jason Hoye (Pam) of Ringgold, LA, Melissa Dauer (Jason) of Heflin, LA, Tammy Edwards (Phillip) of Dubberly, LA, Jamey Smithey (Courtney) of Heflin, LA and Jack. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, several great, great grandchildren and number of other relatives and friends.
