As Amos Paul departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Amos Paul. Though Amos Paul may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lamar Lacombe and Eunice Lacombe; his siblings, Vincent Joseph Lacombe, Arnie Lacombe and Euther Jeansonne; his son Paul Vincent Lacombe; and his grandson Joshua Lacombe.
He is survived by: his wife Genevieve Lacombe; and his children, Jonathon Lacombe of Belledeau and Faith Gagnard (Jimmy) of Fifth Ward. He is also survived by four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Calendar Rose-Neath Funeral Home (334 Acton Rd, Marksville, LA 71351). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home (334 Acton Rd, Marksville, LA 71351). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church (1981 LA-114, Hessmer, LA 71341).
