He was predeceased by: his father Robert Seal Flanders, Sr.; his wife Arlene Riche Flanders; his son Franklin Flanders Jr.; his mother Louise Ferguson Flanders (Ferguson); and his siblings, Robert S. Flanders Jr. and Kathryn Collins.
He is survived by: his children, Christopher Flanders (Vickie) of Zachary and Bernadette Shepherd (Patrick Conningham) of Boyce; his siblings, David Flanders of Mansura and Louella Randolf (Vernon) of Carriere, MS; and his sisters-in-law, Joan Flanders of Vienna, VA and Fran Flanders of Marksville. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
