We bid farewell to James B. Joubert of Hessmer, Louisiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 27, 2025 at the age of 85. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Joubert and Ella Sonnier LeBlue. He is survived by: his wife Georgine Jagneaux Joubert; his children, Mark Joubert (Missy), Paul Laborde (Tina), Patrick Laborde (Gayann), Peter Laborde, Jr., Liz Welch (Michael) and Tanya Joubert; and his siblings, Wilbert LeBlue (Blackie), Connie LeBlue Manual (Chip) and Shelia LeBlue. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home (445 E Bontempt St, Marksville, LA 71351). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church (1981 LA-114, Hessmer, LA 71341).
