Ard of Hessmer, Louisiana; his siblings, Matthew Ard of Hessmer, Louisiana, Erin Quebedeaux of Arnaudville and Laken Ard of Marksville, Louisiana; and his stepgrandchildren, Sadie and Caiden Crooks.

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church (1981 LA-114, Hessmer, LA 71341).
