Ruth leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Ruth’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Ruth will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Fowler; her parents, Lionel Francois and Octavia Francois; and her siblings, James, Robert Francois and Marie Swope.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Daigrepont (Bobby) of Cottonport, Jacqueline Fowler of Cottonport and Karen Gauthier of Marksville; and her brother Glenn Francois (Connie). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Assumption Catholic Church.
