It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tina Marie Descant of Hessmer, Louisiana, who passed away on February 20, 2023, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Earline Ducote Lemoine and Adonis Descant; her stepfather Ernest Lemoine; her brother Gervaise Descant; and the father of her children Michael Jeansonne, Sr..

She is survived by : her children, Michael Jeansonne, Jr. (Vanessa), Jonathan Jeansonne, Eric Jeansonne (Teri) and Angela Jeansonne; her sister Priscilla Daigrepont; and her grandchildren, Bianca, Ian, Trey, Hailey, Maci, Naomi, Alyssa, Adlyn, Bellamy, Elizabeth and Ava.
