She was predeceased by: her parents, Durwood Nichols and Carrie Olevia Merchant; her husband Billy Wayne Carr; and her brother Rodney Cupples. She is survived by: her children, Marguerite Poe (Rodney) and Ryan Carr (Brittany); her grandchildren, Olevia Nicole McNeely-Lewis (Justin McDaniel), Jacquelyn Rae McNeely-Dunn (Joshua), Katherine Elizabeth McNeely and Kayce Carr; and her great grandchildren, Tanner Lewis, Hannah Lewis, Lainey Howell, Brock Dunn, Kyle Dunn, Terik McDaniel and Tanner McDaniel.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Hineston Tabernacle (1-43 Sandy Ln, Elmer, LA 71424). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM. A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at the Mount Moriah Cemetery.
