He was predeceased by: his parent Sentell Lott; his son Duncan Lott; his mother Maggie Efferson Lott; and his siblings, Kenneth Lott, J. C. Lott and Maybelline Lott Clark.

He is survived by: his wife Rose Lott; his children, Duane Lott and Vicki Fontenot (Doug); his grandchildren, Zachary Lott (Natalie), Wyatt Lott (Kenzie), Adrianna Lott and Jaclyn Lott-Clement; his great grandchildren, Andrew, Ania, Fiona and Cypress; and his stepgreat-grandchild Adrian. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Courtney Cemetery.
