With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Bodenheimer Kropog of Holden, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on January 25, 2026 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest Paul Kropog; her son-in-law Charlie M. Vitter; her parents, Harold Bodenheimer and Adele Bodenheimer; and her brothers, Harold Bodenheimer, Elwood Bodenheimer, Ralph Bodenheimer, Raymond Bodenheimer and Lloyd Bodenheimer.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Vitter, Ann Costanza (Rusty) and Scott Kropog (Robin); her grandchildren, Colin Finnegan, Jeremy Finnegan, Meredith Finnegan, Christopher Costanza and Kyle Costanza; her great grandchildren, Isabella Finnegan and Sofia Finnegan; and her sisters, Mary Marino, Gloria Martin, Carolyn Smith and Dianne Beaver. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
