She is survived by: her children, Mike Dowden (Betty) of Shreveport, LA, Suzanne Dilsaver (Nick) of Homer, LA and Jana Johns (Jerry) of Tulsa, OK; and her grandchildren, Carleigh Bowland (Coty) of Shreveport, LA, Marcus Dilsaver of Homer, LA and Anna Johns of Tulsa, OK..

In lieu of flowers honoring Mrs. Dowden, her family suggests memorials be made to American Heart Association or Susan G. Komen Foundation.
