With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Auld Zachary (Homer, Louisiana), who passed away on May 18, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie B. Auld and Mary Bridgeman Auld; her husband G. W. Zachary; and her brother Archie Bernard Auld. She is survived by: her children, Roger Zachary (Lisa) and Ann Marie Zachary Humphrey; her son-in-law Les Humphrey; her grandchildren, Zachary Willis (Brittany), McKenzie Zachary, Jarrett Zachary (Ella) and Matt Humphrey (Dana); her great grandchild Owen Humphrey; her granddaughter-in-law Stephanie Humphrey; and her sister Charlotte Ann Cavazos. She is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers honoring Betty, her family suggests memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Homer or donor's choice.
