It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis Nelson (Homer, Louisiana), who passed away on October 24, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Curtis Nelson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Justina Wellborn Nelson and Curtis "Swede" Nelson, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Tana Hood Nelson; his children, Chris Bailey (Patsy) of Summerfield, LA and Stacy Fountain (Marty Lowrey); his sister Tina Ann Nelson Hensley (Kenneth); his grandchildren, Brittany McLendon (Hayden), Caleb Fountain, Colton Fountain, Briiana Bailey and Carmon Bailey; his great grandchildren, Jayden and Mila; and his nephew Terry Lynn Nelson (Brandi). He is also survived by children; along with other relatives and many, many friends.

In lieu of flowers honoring Curt, his family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, St. Jude or donor's choice.
