Donald leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Donald’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Donald will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Garland Byrd and Avis Gira Byrd (Hays); and his wife Mary (Rose-Neath). He is survived by: his stepson Danny N. Milam, Sr. (Helaine); his grandchildren, Danny "Dee" Milam, Jr. (Deidre), Trae Milam (Caitlin) and Theresa Milam Mattox (Chris); and his cousin Jackie Byrd James. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in Don's honor to Emmanuel Baptist Church Hurricane and/or the Hurricane Cemetery Association.
