He was predeceased by: his brothers, Dr. Lavelle Haynes, Dr. Glen Haynes and Joe Haynes; and his wife Carolyn Kimbell Haynes. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Mark Haynes (Tracey) of Homer, Keitha Gardiner (Lonnie) of Alpharetta, Lisa Thompson (Noble) of Benton, Dr. John Haynes (Monica) of Shreveport and Dr. Scott Haynes (Maria) of Homer; his grandchildren, Amanda Robichaux (Nicholas) of Baton Rouge, David Haynes (Mary-Frances) of Shreveport, Laurie Lanham (Shane) of Cumming, Brooke Gardiner of Alpharetta, Kevin Gardiner (Kelsey) of Atlanta, Trey Thompson (Christina) of Benton, Matthew Thompson (Kimberly) of Benton, Taylor Haskell (Ryan) of Benton, Francie Haynes (Wiley Stidham) of Nashville, Caroline Haynes, Patrick Haynes, Nicholas Haynes of Shreveport, Emily LaBiche (Drew) of Houston, Madelyn Haynes (Will Mathews) of Baton Rouge, William Haynes of Shreveport and John Henry Haynes of Homer; his great grandchildren, Vivienne, Miller Robichaux of Baton Rouge, Henry, Wyatt Haynes of Shreveport, Avery Claire, Evangeline, Caroline, Haynes Lanham of Cumming, Elet Robinson of Alpharetta, Dawson, Riley Thompson of Benton, Olivia Thompson of Benton and Daisy Haskell of Benton; his friend Cherry Lynn Sanders of Haynesville; and his pet Joe Burreaux.
