With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dudley Whitfield Smart Jr. (Homer, Louisiana), who passed away on June 1, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Billy Wayne Smart and James Ray Smart. He is survived by: his wife Betty Elaine Smart; his son Jon Lynn Smart (Paula); his grandchildren, Drew Smart (Ashtin) and Mandy Kelley; his great grandchildren, Zane, Everly and Elyse; and his brother A. W. Smart, Sr..
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holy Springs Baptist Church (854 US-79, Homer, LA 71040). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
