He is survived by: his wife Ann Short Allen; his children, Dannita Allen of Shreveport, LA, Terrie Springer of Shreveport, LA and Gerald B. Allen, Jr. (Mary) of Blanchard, LA; the mother of his children Patricia Woods; and his brother Preston Allen (Kathy) of West Monroe, LA. He is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
