It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Monk Jr. (Homer, Louisiana), born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on December 1, 2021, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Sylvia Cooper Monk. He is survived by: his father John E. Monk, Sr.; his son Chance J. Monk; his brother Dennis Longtroop; his wife Dawn Sullens Monk; his brother Jesse Monk; and his nephew Jason Stars. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
